Content Creation & Livestreaming — Exploring Storytelling, Community, and Visual Design
Jan 25, 2025
Since 2018, on and off, I've been created videos on the internet, in an effort to experiment with my creative potential. It's been a place to fuse the facets of my experience and passions from photography to gaming. It's has a special place in my heart too, as the medium where I grew significantly out of my social anxiety shell, and learned how to be an engaging speaker.
As I explored the creative world of content creation through YouTube and Twitch, I'd make gaming videos to photography tutorials, story-driven experiments, and travel-inspired design content.
What began as curiosity quickly became a playground for storytelling, visual design, entrepreneurship, and community-building. I managed every aspect of the process — filming, editing, branding, thumbnail design, livestream overlays, community engagement, and even moderator coordination.
Through years of experimentation, I learned how to:
Tell stories visually through cinematography, editing rhythm, and narrative pacing
Design cohesive brand aesthetics (logos, thumbnails, layout systems for livestreams)
Build and manage an online community, including moderators and engagement norms
Iterate quickly based on viewer feedback and analytics
Experiment across mediums, from gaming to photography to travel-based creative projects
Lead entrepreneurial creative projects with consistency and authenticity
This season of experimentation taught me how to blend creativity, communication, and design, shaping my voice as a maker and expanding the way I approach digital experiences today.
