Howdy, I’m Mason — a product designer, creative builder, and follower of Jesus who believes design should serve people.

I’m currently studying Cognitive Science with a focus on Design and Interaction at UC San Diego, where I also work as a Junior Designer at The Design Lab. My work spans product design, entrepreneurship, and creative leadership — from prototyping digital tools for educators to running an e-commerce brand with over 1,500 global sales.

I design because I believe creativity is a way to love people — to put pep in their step as they chase what matters most. I’ve seen how design can distract or divide, but I’m passionate about using it differently: to encourage connection, inspire reflection, and create things that matter.

My design process is equal parts curiosity and compassion. I love diving deep into research, experimenting with new ideas, and building prototypes that bring clarity to complex problems. I thrive in collaborative environments where design meets storytelling and impact — whether working with engineers, educators, or artists.

I’m currently seeking Product Design Internship opportunities for Summer 2026, where I can collaborate with creative teams to design thoughtful, research-informed, and impactful products.

Outside of design, you can find me experimenting with photography, hiking the coast, or brainstorming my next creative project.
